A prominent regional water and wastewater utility provider in the United States, this organization plays a vital role in delivering essential services across a vast 18,000-square-mile river basin. Known for operating advanced wastewater treatment systems and critical infrastructure, the utility serves multiple counties through its network of regional plants. The initial rollout of the asset management solution began at a major 24 MGD wastewater treatment facility and is now expanding across its other locations and departments.

Top Challenges

The client loaded the metadata, which caused several issues during the Database Configuration process. We analyzed and resolved these issues promptly. We also ensured minimal downtime while setting up the Production Environment with data, thanks to our well-defined plan for Production setup and data loading activities.

The updated version of the EAM360 Technician App was released on time, addressing the issues reported in the previous version. We followed the same interface approach as used in Maximo 7.6, but with a key enhancement, interface file transfers were configured through an S3 bucket instead of using traditional folder- or FTP-based methods.

  • The EAM360 Technician App was upgraded to version 3.1, resolving previously reported issues and improving mobile workforce productivity through enhanced features and stability.
  • Seamless integration was established between IBM MAS and the Lawson system to ensure smooth data exchange and streamline business processes, especially around procurement and finance.
  • Active Directory was set up to support SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO), in close coordination between Naviam and TRA. Several authentication-related issues were identified and promptly resolved, ensuring secure and centralized user access.
  • MAS Core was leveraged to load users in bulk, significantly reducing manual effort and accelerating the onboarding process.
  • While following the proven integration approach from Maximo 7.6, the new solution utilized S3 buckets for interface file transfers, replacing traditional folder/FTP methods. This improved reliability, scalability, and security of the integration layer.
  • Well-Prepared Project Plan & Close Coordination: A detailed and realistic project plan was prepared and followed, ensuring all milestones were met on time.
