A flagship property of a US-based global hospitality group, the integrated resort is known for its luxury accommodations, large events, and high-availability operations. With thousands of hotel rooms and essential facilities to manage, the client's asset management system is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Top challenges:

The client had long used an on-premise IBM Maximo 7.6 instance. Over time, its complexity and technical limits reduced efficiency and responsiveness. Specific challenges include:

  • Aging infrastructure: Outdated servers required constant maintenance, adding unnecessary costs and effort.

  • Huge Data Volumes: More than 200 GB of operational data and another 280 GB of document attachments had to be migrated safely.

  • Complex Customizations: Heavy Java-based customizations that were incompatible with MAS architecture.

  • Integration Challenges: Critical connections with SAP Ariba, ServiceNow, and other systems had to remain fully operational without interruptions.

  • Demand for near-zero downtime: Due to the client’s 24x7 hospitality operations, business interruption or extended downtime was not permissible.
